The Mentlvilla in Innsbruck is a shelter for drug-addicted and homeless people. Mentlvilla is what is know as a low-threshold project, i.e. accepting guests is not tied to a number of commitments on their part. For example, demonstrating a commitment to stop using drugs or go to rehab is not a prerequisite for finding shelter at the Mentlvilla. The goal of the Mentlvilla is to provide a safe place to stay, where guests as safe from drug dealers as they are from discrimination.
