In many countries you can buy street newspapers in central locations such as shopping centres, stations, supermarkets and bars. Sales from these newspapers help people who are excluded from the labour market (e.g. homeless people, the long-term unemployed, asylum seekers, etc.) to provide for themselves. Simultaneously, it can be a creative outlet for all those who wish to publish their own writings.
When you buy a street newspaper, you are not only helping the seller, you are also giving a voice to the homeless, to the long-term unemployed and to asylum seekers.
